Ole Salzer | Project Management

For me, project management means combining social and methodological aspects to achieve a goal. The result should also contribute sustainably to the success of a company.

"Methodological competence and the social component must come together. The methodological understanding ensures that the right path is chosen, while the social component brings a heterogeneous team together and motivates it for the tasks at hand. Both with the goal of successfully getting a project over the finish line."

For me it is important that I can realize my strengths and interests optimally at HoPM. This also means actively living the values of openness, trust and respect. This way, in combination with my methodological competence, I can best use my strengths for the success of the project.

I developed a keen interest in project management during my bachelor's and master's studies in business administration. The choice of my majors in the form of organization and innovation management reflects it, in which project management plays a central role.

I was additionally able to combine my theoretical knowledge with practical experience gained in student jobs and an internship. Thereby, I have taken on the role of a project employee as well as the role of a project manager for a smaller project and have learned to appreciate working in teams very much. For this reason, I am familiar with various methodologies and can assess their technical feasibility in projects.

In my free time, you can usually find me out in the fresh air with a book, on the golf course or on my jog.
